Thomas G. Lewis, Painter of Montana
Unveils new works in oil on canvas in an exhibition entitled
"Painting the Town"
The paintings feature plein aire impressions of the village of Bigfork.
Artist Statement:
Inspired by the charming and wonderful appeal of our little village, I have spent the last several months executing some 20-25 plein aire paintings of downtown Bigfork. Numerous businesses and landmarks on Electric Avenue, Grand Avenue, and Bridge Street are featured in these impressionistic works.
None of these paintings have yet been exhibited, and it is my pleasure to unveil these for viewing. A portion the receipts of those sold will benefit the campaign to retire the costs of the Theatre Lobby expansion.
Your $10 ticket at the door allows you the Champagne Tasting, nibbles and a raffle ticket for a drawing to win one of the paintings.
